The Neptun Hotel was founded in 1991 as the part of the first International Business Center in Saint Petersburg. In 1993 the hotel joined Best Western International association to provide the guests of Saint Petersburg and businesspeople with services and accommodation meeting highest world standards. The Neptun Hotel is located close to the city center on the bank of the Obvodny Canal. It is situated within easy reach, also by public transport, of Nevsky Prospect, the city main thoroughfare. The Neptun Hotel consists of two buildings. The rooms located in the second building that was constructed just recently - in 2000, are considered to be more comfortable and therefore their rates are higher. These rooms have a range of extra amenities and furnished with stylish Spanish furniture. The sizes of the rooms differ considerably. For example, a single room of the second building is about 20-27 sq. m., while in the first one the single room is about 12 sq. m. only. The Neptun Hotel offers standard singles and doubles, apartments, junior suites and suites. There are specially designed rooms for the disabled. Each room has every comfort: mini-bar, Internet access, long-distance and international phone, satellite TV. Note that air conditioning has been installed only in junior suites and suites.

The Gulf Stream Restaurant comprises the Blue Hall for 120 seats, the cozy Red Hall for 60 seats, the stylish bar, the comfy Winter Garden, the refined Cigar room and the state Admiral VIP-hall. In the menu of the restaurant dishes of European cuisine predominate, but the place also features some national specialties. The rich wine carte offers a great choice of noble drinks.
